Ruth joins TDI as a Project Manager, supporting its efforts to evaluate the effectiveness of two interventions for increasing shared decision-making in reproductive health care. Prior to joining TDI, Ruth managed a portfolio of social science research at Ibis Reproductive Health focused on expanding reproductive health care access in underserved communities. While obtaining her master’s degree, Ruth worked on several qualitative and quantitative research projects with the Jane Fonda Center for Adolescent Reproductive Health and the Feminist Women’s Health Center. She also received a Fulbright Scholarship to Sri Lanka. Ruth holds an MPH from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health and a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Gender Studies from Grinnell College.
